Opatija wedding | Ksenia + Fedja

Opatija wedding | Ksenia + Fedja

This is the story about multicultural wedding. Ksenia is originally from Korea, and Fedja is a Bosnian. They decided to get married on seaside and they choose Opatija, historical simbol of tourism in Croatia.

That day the time has flown. I have to admit I always feel challenging documenting weddings of people coming from different cultures. Connecting their families and friends from the another sides of the world seems like a fairytale to me.

They choose Hotel Royal for a wedding venue. They have been there from wedding preparation until the end of the wedding party. Even the wedding ceremony was at a hotel beach – they said their vows on the mole surrounded by the sea, and their wedding guest were standing and watching the ceremony from the beach. It was really beautiful scene.

They did their best as a hosts, but their wedding guests also made a big effort preparing some surprises for newlyweds. After dinner, everybody moved to Royal wedding hall, and it all started with a first song instead of first dance, where newlyweds showed us their surprisingly good singing skills. After some live music sets, their girlfriends started with cabaret dance performance, and boyfriends sang a song they write by themselves. Father was playing piano and their aunts made a choreography dance from their youth. It was really spectacular wedding party until the early morning. There were a lot of memorable moments, the newlyweds were so satisfied, you could have seen happens in their eyes.
